WHAT IS SEPTI +?
Septi + is a maintenance product for the septic tank.
It is made with bacteria and enzymes. It breaks down organic matter, helps to purify the wastewater and thus protects the leach field.

WHY SHOULD BACTERIA AND ENZYMES BE ADDED TO THE SEPTIC TANK?
Your septic system must break down a large amount of organic material (soaps, grease, feces, toilet paper, etc.) from the discharge on a daily basis.
The natural process of biodegradation is often insufficient to properly digest all these organic materials.
It is now possible to add bacteria and enzymes to give a little boost to your septic system.

EVEN IF I HAVE TO HAVE MY SEPTIC TANK EMPTIED?
That's right! Pumping only removes the solids from the septic tank. It does not protect your leaching bed per se…
The addition of bacteria ensures that organic matter is broken down and that the wastewater is properly purified in the septic tank. This keeps the accumulation of organic matter low and reduces the amount of suspended particles sent to the leaching field.
In other words, you protect the leaching bed from excessive organic matter accumulation and save yourself a lot of trouble.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Then flush and the bacteria will take care of the rest.
And if you want a slightly more detailed explanation of what happens after you flush, here it is:
Bacteria reach the septic tank carried by the water that drains into your home's plumbing system.
Once in the septic tank, these bacteria will become active and multiply. They will produce more enzymes to break down the organic material in the tank.
Then they will go to work, absorbing organic particles. Bacteria feed on organic matter and produce water and gas molecules.
TO SUMMARIZE
Bacteria multiply, produce enzymes and transform organic waste into H2O and gases (CO2, H2S, CH4). This is a completely natural process.
